One man, one journey, one hundred and ninety-one miles. We’re joined by our very own Robert Osborne, as he reveals our big charity event for the 2024 London game! Plus, how far would you go to watch the Vikings?
At the UK and Ireland Minnesota Vikings Fan Club we are proud of our fundraising and our charities lead Robert will be embarking on the club’s biggest challenge yet: Skol to the Stadium!

From Robert: “I chose a charity close to home and heart, one that personally helped someone very dear to myself and my family. My amazing sister-in-law wouldn’t be here with us today if it wasn’t for the help of Young Lives vs Cancer (previously known as CLIC Sargent) when she was receiving leukaemia treatment, so what better charity to support than one that helps ease the financial burden that comes with a cancer diagnosis, especially as it’s one that most don’t think about until it’s them in that situation.
“What this journey entails is one man travelling over 190 miles on foot from the traditional home of the Vikings in the UK in York to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to arrive for game day when the Minnesota Vikings host the New York Jets on 6th October. I chose this journey to replicate the hard and at times almost impossible journey that cancer patients go through. I will be battling typical October weather, and through rain and sun, sore feet or no, I am determined to finish not for me but for Young Lives vs Cancer, knowing every step and every penny helps them to help families struggling with the associated costs.”
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, they help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
