NFL announces Vikings as road team for Dublin, London in 2025
The NFL has announced the full slate of international games for the 2025 season, and the big news is the Minnesota Vikings will be returning to this side of the Atlantic for a pair of games. With appearances in Dublin and London, they’ll be the first team to play back-to-back international games in two different countries.
Who will the Vikings be playing in the 2025 NFL International Games?
The first game will see the Vikings visit Dublin’s Croke Park in week 4 for a road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 28th. They will then hop over the Irish Sea to face the Cleveland Browns at their home away from home, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the following week on October 5th.
These are two fixtures with history for the Vikings on this side of the pond. Our first ever International Series game saw us take on the Steelers at London’s Wembley Stadium almost 12 years to the day before this year’s encounter; both Adrian Peterson and Greg Jennings notched a brace of touchdowns as the Vikings came away with a 34-27 win.
Our second trip to London saw us take on the Browns at Twickenham four years later. Despite going behind early, Adam Thielen’s touchdown – and the subsequent iconic kneeslide celebration – sparked a comeback that saw us to a 33-16 victory.
The UK & Ireland Minnesota Vikings Fan Club will do all we can to make sure the fans have the best possible experience at both games. Keep an eye on our social media for all the announcements leading up to this autumn.
