In addition to the announcement of the regular season schedule earlier this week, the Vikings also confirmed on Wednesday night their preseason slate ahead of the new campaign. They’ll play two games at home and one on the road, beginning with a meeting with the Houston Texans at U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 9th. A week later, they’ll host the New England Patriots before completing preparations for the 2025 season at the Tennessee Titans on Friday, August 22nd.

As usual, this trio of games will give starters an opportunity to get up to speed ahead of the first competitive game of the season, as well as allowing the coaching staff to assess some of the players on the fringes of the roster in a game situation. Teams can currently have up to 90 players on their active roster, but this must be cut to a final 53 by the end of August.

What is the Vikings’ preseason schedule for 2025?

  • Week 1: vs Houston Texans (August 9th, 9pm BST)
  • Week 2: vs New England Patriots (August 16th, 6pm BST)
  • Week 3: @ Tennessee Titans (August 23rd, 1am BST)

All games should be available to watch on NFL Game Pass on DAZN, but all broadcast details will be confirmed closer to the date.
