The 2025 London game fan club guide
It’s happening again! The Minnesota Vikings are coming back to London in October to play against the Cleveland Browns.
This will be the Vikings’ second year in a row playing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and their fifth regular season game overall in the capital. Each of the previous games have been a blast, so if you have been before, or are new to the Vikings in London, here are a few UK & Ireland Fan Club tips ahead of the game.
Where and when is the game going to be played?
The Vikings are taking on the Cleveland Browns at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, October 5th. The game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. UK time and, if it doesn’t go to overtime, should be finished before 6pm.
When will tickets go on sale?
Ticket sales have been and gone, but if you didn’t get a ticket, don’t panic! There are still ways you can get resale tickets.
The Facebook group NFL UK Fans Ticket Exchange is not affiliated with our club, but we believe it’s one of the safest ticket exchange groups on social media and they only let you sell at face value.
Ticket touts will also start lowering resale prices closer to the game, so hold out and don’t let them win.
Will there be any activities happening around London for the game?
Almost certainly! The NFL is known for organising exciting events around the week of the game at iconic venues including Trafalgar Square, Regent Street, the South Bank and Battersea Power Station. These are always a lot of fun with lots of activities for the whole family.
We are once again running the fan favourite pre-game tailgate at The Two Brewers and The Victoria from 9 a.m. on gameday. This will be the biggest meet-up of UK fans for the match on October 5th.
Both venues are on Scotland Green in Tottenham, just a short walk south of the stadium.
All fans are welcome at both pubs, so come on down and enjoy the friendly rivalry before the game! You can enjoy a Vikings branded beer ‘For Whom The Bell Skols’, catch up with other excited Vikings fans and join us in a Skol March to the stadium. For more information, and to let us know you are coming, visit our Facebook London game events page.
Can I buy any game merchandise?
Official club merchandise is available for pre-orders on our Etsy store.
Which sideline will the Vikings be on?
At Tottenham, the home team is always allocated the east sideline so they can take advantage of the huge NFL locker room in the east stand and all the facilities that go with it. As the Vikings are officially the road team for the game, we will be lining up on the west sideline.
Does the club have any tickets in reserve? Will you be block-booking any seats for club members in the general sale?
Unfortunately not. As much as we would love to have a section to ourselves, we advise all fans to make their own arrangements for tickets. We’ll just have to make our voices heard all the louder before, during and after the game!
How do I get to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
London has one of the best public transport networks in the world, boasting both underground and overground train services, buses and even temporary cycle hire. The nearest Underground/Tube station is Seven Sisters on the Victoria line (light blue), which is about a 30-minute walk from the stadium, but you can catch the Overground from Seven Sisters and go two stops north to White Hart Lane, which is less than a five-minute walk to the stadium.
Buses will run on the day, but road closures mean they won’t be able to drop you off right outside. If you want to get a little closer, you can choose to cycle on the day; Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has plenty of secure places to park your bike, but do remember to bring a strong lock!
How do I get into the stadium? Will I need to print my tickets?
With the world moving towards sustainability, the vast majority of tickets for the game will be digital. Ticketmaster will provide a link to download the tickets to a smartphone wallet, which you can then scan at the stadium to get inside. If neither you nor anyone in your party has a smartphone, Ticketmaster may be able to help. Some people may be sent PDF copies of their tickets to print at home, but this will not be the norm.
Where should I stay?
With London having such good transport links, you can stay almost anywhere in the city and still be less than an hour’s journey away from the stadium. There’s no need to splash out on a pricey hotel in the middle of town or right by the stadium (unless you really want to!), just be aware of your nearest London transport connection to the stadium.
What’s the Vikings’ record in London like?
The Vikings are officially the most successful team in the history of the NFL London Games. Only the Jaguars (13) and the Dolphins (5) have played more games in London, but the Vikings are the franchise with the most games played here without losing. We also have the honour of being the first team to play at all three London venues; we beat the Steelers at Wembley in 2013, the Browns at Twickenham in 2017, and the Saints and the Jets at Tottenham in 2022 and 2024 respectively.
Don’t forget, though, we also played a preseason game over here back in 1983, when we took on the Cardinals in the NFL’s first ever game in the UK. Played at Wembley (the old one!), we won the game 28-10 in front of a disappointing crowd of just under 33,000. The crowd will almost certainly be pushing double that at Tottenham in October.
Did you go to any of the Vikings’ previous London games? Maybe all four? Were you one of the lucky ones to see us beat the Cardinals 41 years ago? Get in touch via social media – we’d love to hear your stories!
